- AnonymousApr 27, 2024This was my first lesson with the teacher after my 25-minute experiential lesson. The main purpose of this class is to practice conversation. I live in Taiwan without any Spanish-speaking friends; and I've been learning Spanish for only over three months. When I try to speak Spanish, I often (if not always) feel tongue-tied and struggle to articulate my thoughts. I can imagine it must be quite challenging for my teach to engage in conversation with me, given my little proficiency in Spanish. However, the atmosphere in class was very good, and I had a lot of time and opportunities to practice speaking Spanish. My listening skills in Spanish are very poor, but in the class the teacher spoke very clearly and used simple language at a moderate pace, so that I could somewhat understand what he was asking. I learned many sentences that I often think about but don't know how to express in Spanish. I believe that reviewing the class video thoroughly after class will definitely help improve my speaking abilities.
