I have lots of experience, particularly with successful Cambridge exam preparation, but also with general English and English for academic purposes. I have a PhD in English! I help students to speak and write a very correct and high-quality English. Exam preparation course: this is particularly for Cambridge exams, but I want also to get experience with IELTS, Trinity, and other exams! General English course: this is to work on every aspect of your English in a relaxed and productive way! Conversational English: these lessons are simply to work on your speaking in a relaxed and friendly environment. Academic English: these lessons are to help you to achieve the refined English needed for academic settings. My teaching tends to be relaxed, calm, and patient. This is the best method, I think, for helping a student achieve everything they want to achieve. My approach is very structured: I like to work on a bit of everything (reading, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary, even sometimes writing). That is, unless a student wants to work on one or two things in particular! I always try to understand what the student wants and needs and try to help them from there.
