SMRY: review of speaking FDBK: New insights into language are the most valuable rewards in this two month journey. I am the one who really hate any language exam, whether it is English or Chinese, etc. In my opinion, the main purpose of learning a language is to communicate with people as efficiently as I can. Based on my experience, the language exam totally have no help to improve this ability. They usually evaluated your skills in a confusing way which is based on your understanding to rarely used vocabulary words, phrases, and sentences, instead of checking whether you can fluently communicate with other or can explicitly express your opinion in that language. Honestly, I did not dedicate too much to preparation of TOEFL exam in the beginning, because I still have stereotype about “Language exam”. However, My mind change after I started to prepare TOEFL and take your course, because they are quite expensive (JK😂), because I found that they are very useful and beneficial in real life (O). EX: SVO structure in reading and listening. I currently did not completely master this skill, but I found that my reading speed improve a lot meanwhile maintaining the correct understanding to the content, and I can better understand the conversation. Surprisingly, this also have my Chinese ability improved a lot!!!!! 😁 I would like to thank you again for your effort in this two month. I am super impressed that you are willing to find to root cause of my problems and patiently help me address them. In an ex-engineer perspective, you are an awesome R&D engineer (Much much better that those I have ever seen)!!!!!
Thanks for Nadya`s advice. I should practice more on speaking.
