Hi, my name is Aya. I’m a native Japanese speaker.
I have lived in the United States for 5 years and in Hong Kong for 8 years, so I speak English fluently and some Cantonese.
I live in Fukuoka now.
I enjoy watching American TV series and movies, gardening, cooking, reading books, handcrafting, hiking, playing video games, and traveling when I'm able to. I’m interested in history and psychology.
I have specific knowledge of how to teach students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and Asperger's syndrome (ASD).
I have experience working as a caregiver at a nursing home and I also worked at a freight forwarding agency in an airport where I handled cargo documents.
I teach Japanese in English, especially for beginners.
