🤸♀〈About me〉🤸♀
I'm a certified Japanese tutor and I have over 10 years experience as a language tutor.
All lessons are for those who want to speak fluently and correctly with confidence!!
🌿I am a native Japanese speaker, born in Japan.
🌿I have loved Japanese history since I was a child, and I used to read "Manga de yomu nihono rekishi" (History of Japan in Manga).
🌿 I love visiting historical sites, castles, temples, and shrines. In university, I studied religion and culture in ancient and medieval Japan and received a Bachelor of Arts degree.
🌿I am an active person and I like to travel. I have a long-term study abroad experience in Sydney, Australia.
🤸♀〈Teaching experiences〉 🤸♀
Currently I am working as a Japanese teacher and an English teacher (for high school students) more than 10 years in Tokyo.
I used to teach English to high school students for college entrance exams at a preparatory school in Japan.
However, as the number of foreign students has increased, I have had more opportunities to teach Japanese. Therefore, I decided to receive formal training as a Japanese language teacher.
I took 420 hours of training in Australia to become certified as a Japanese language tutor and passed Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test last year.

🤸♀〈Beginner Japanese〉🤸♀
Target Level: Absolute Beginners and Above
📌 In beginner-level lessons, I use textbooks such as "Minna no Nihongo," "Yasashii Nihongo," and "Genki." These lessons provide not only grammar study but also plenty of opportunities to practice speaking Japanese and participate in conversations. The goal is to build a solid foundation in grammar while also being able to use Japanese in real-life situations.
📌 I use PowerPoint to explain the material during lessons, and after each lesson, I will provide the slides as a PDF. While it's not necessary to purchase the textbooks, having them can be very helpful for self-study and review.
🤸♀Qualification🤸♀
I took 420 hours of training in Australia to become certified as a Japanese language tutor and also passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test .
🤸♀Teaching style🤸♀
In my class, you will learn the basics of grammar, but at the same time you will learn how Japanese people naturally speak!!
The reason is that Japanese do not always speak in accordance with what you learn from the textbook.
Therefore, many Japanese learners have trouble understanding what native Japanese people are saying because Japanese people often omit words or phrases when they speak.
In addition, Japanese word order is quite flexible, which sometimes makes it confusing for Japanese learners.
In my class, you will get a lot of advice to solve those problems!!
