- Patient and enthusiastic Vietnamese tutor. - Help you to engage with the lesson in a happy manner. - Achieving 43 in Victorian Certificate of Education of Vietnamese subject in Australia (top ten highest scores in Australia) - Achieving 3th runner-up in Literature examination for Vietnamese students, which celebrated in Vietnam 2016. - Currently studying Bachelor of Education in Australia so teaching is my passion, my life. - Experienced teaching VCE Vietnamese subject for year 12 students in 2019. 1/ Beginner level: You can distinguish the difference between Vietnamese tones. You have enough knowledge on how to pronounce a word though this also needs a long-term practice. 2/ Intermediate level: You can be enhanced on your vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Now you have a field to understand what native speakers say. More than that, you can gradually distinguish the difference accents between North and Southern Vietnam. 3/ Advanced level: You will be fulfilled what you don't know. You improve on your weaknesses which may include: reading and listening. If you want to test your ability, I help you to find the examination. 4/ Conversation: You will be encouraged to speak more. The more you speak, the better you can be. If you struggle to pronounce it right, remember, no one receives the success if they did not experience any failures. This class is an opportunity for you to see your improvement. You can choose which topic you want to discuss or I can recommend the topic. 5/ Vietnamese for travel: This course is the combination of speaking and listening. You can understand enough words which are necessary to travel. Sure, you also know how to bargain. We also go through topics: country, culture, food, number, weather. 6/ Vietnamese grammar: This course requires the concentration, the memorisation and the detail. I will try to make sure you don't overload when you finish the course. Grammar is the hardest part when you learn a language so you need to understand it slowly and repeat it many times. - Before the lesson starts, I will send you PowerPoint slides which I have prepared. Don't be afraid! I don't force you to remember anything in the Powerpoint, just let you know what the topic of the lesson is about. Or if you have any topic you want to learn, send me before class (at least 12 hours). - During class, you can ask any questions you curious but it should be related to our lesson. I don't want to put pressure on you, it's just learning a new language. Remember: RELAX and SMILE. If you need to cancel a class, please let me know and cancel the class 12 hours before it’s start time (time is precious, right?). - You still can ask me any questions by sending messages after class finishes.
