When I was young my favorites were rock and metal, guitarists like Rhandy Rhoads, Paul Gilbert and John Petrucci, shredding and virtuosity. Now I start to focus more on riffs like Blues and Fusion. I will definitely formulate courses and teaching materials according to the style of music that students like. But I don't just teach how to play songs, but also the skills and music theory behind them, so that students can learn by themselves in the future.
