So far, I have been taking her lessons more than 14 times (I think) and I really like how she teaches me. She knows what I know and what I don't know and adjust the pace accordingly. Her explanation is also very clear. Not only this, her Korean pronunciation is also very impressive. Sometimes, hers is better than my Korean with dialect. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to improve Chinese skill with confidence.

We love Teacher Ho-yeung! He is so enthustiastic and fun in class, and provides great custom materials that are relevant to our goals and differing skill level. Cantonese is a very difficult language, but he makes it approachable for even the most beginner of beginners (me). And the pdfs/voice files he provides after class are invaluable for studying. I can't recommend Teacher Ho-yeung enough for learning conversational Cantonese!

This was a good first class. We listened to a song and practiced reciting some of the lyrics. I am excited about learning Mandarin with songs. Dr. Shih Ting chose a few repeated words to focus on since they are more likely to be used in conversation. The class wasn't too easy or too difficult. Thank you! Wǒ tīngjiàn (I hear)

I have only taken a few Mandarin trial classes, though I have been learning for over a month on Duolingo. Grace was well prepared for the lesson and had interesting learning materials along with a game activity to practice what I learned. She can explain clearly in English and gave me plenty of opportunity to practice speaking.

Leela is very nice and patient. She asked me about my current Chinese level and learning expectation before the class. During the class, she helped me to correct some really difficult pronounciations and left me some exercise to practice afterwards. We also quickly agreed with a learning plan. The class was well organised and interesting.

歆翊 is a very kind and joyful teacher. You will not be disappointed if you join her lessons. Our lessons are more conversational and "free-flow" (I decided on this style), but she always makes sure to take the change to correct my speaking to make sure that I stay on track with my learning goals. One thing I really like about 歆翊 is her adaptability. She knows when to pick up the pace, when to slow down and how to keep the conversation going. 10/10 teacher.
