We had a very interesting cultural lesson today learning about the main holidays in Hong Kong and the traditions that go with them. There was a lot to learn in a short time, so I will have to review it!

Great lesson today! Will continues to challenge my mind and remains calm and patient. The material this lesson focused on rearranging some of the older material to avoid simple memorization and also included some new material. I look forward to the next lesson.

Janice is amazing! She’s really friendly, Cantonese is a tough language, but she is well prepared and breaks it down so well. She adapts the lessons to what I actually want to learn.

Eugene is an engaging teacher , it’s not often you hear your kids laugh and excited to interact with their teacher , well ms. Eugene was able to do that. Young kids showing engagement and enthusiasm towards their teacher and class has been lovely to see and goes a long way to helping them learn a new language . Well done Eugene!

Eugene's lessons are incredibly knowledge-dense and require your full attention, but they are absolutely worth it! I highly recommend pairing her classes with at least an hour of daily Cantonese listening practice, like watching TV shows or listening to podcasts. You'll be amazed to find that the exact vocabulary and expressions you learn in class pop up constantly in native conversations. This proves just how practical and highly relevant her teaching is for communication. I've benefited immensely from her course and highly recommend her to anyone wanting to master real-life Cantonese!

Hi Eugene, As you noticed, for today's class, doing a craft over Zoom didn't work out very well with Ellie. She is self concious about her artwork and doesn't like showing it unless it's perfect to her. While I appreciate the good intention behind trying something new with her, your old methods of teaching work best with her and I request that you stick with your traditional methods with Ellie for future classes. Also, if you need anything more than just paper and a pencil for your class, please send me a message a day before so that I can prepare her with all materials necessary for the class and she doesn't end up using precious class time looking for school supplies. Amber is the absolute best teacher! I needed someone very urgently, same day, to be able to speak 108 characters in Cantonese at a fluent level. I have 0 Cantonese experience, and I got so lucky with Amber as my teacher. She did prep beforehand and gave me materials in jyutping for me to study. She found videos that tailored my situation to help me. She voice recorded audio for me that I replayed over and over again. She was constantly finding ways to help me understand, such as having me hum the tones of the words. Because I was on a time crunch and needed to cram, she was able to accommodate my schedule. in 2 days, I was able to memorize and perform those lines confidently. I can tell that Amber truly cares about teaching, and she has the skills, experience and structure to do it exceptionally!

Really enjoy learning with Teacher Irene- she teaches from the heart and is passionate in helping me make meaningful progress in my learning journey. Through her, I do not just acquire linguistic skills but also cultural knowledge. Thank u!!

Amazing teacher, she's very patient and helps tailor sentences and lessons towards your needs. She shows the academic way of saying things for reference but teaches you the vocabulary and lingo to talk like a native Cantonese speaker. Every time I have lesson with her it sparks my motivation to learn and get better. Couldn't ask for a better tutor!

Anna is such a nice and friendly teacher. It's hard not to enjoy having classes with her. She always has such a positive attitude and has taught me so much! It was my 5 year old daughter's first class. She felt comfortable with Emma. Emma was easy to talk to and kind. She explained the course to me and what our goals were for my daughter. My daughter said yes when I asked her if she wanted to take another class with Ms. Emma =)

Today I had my first full lesson with Vincy, and I was very pleased by how it went! Vincy prepared for the class thoroughly, she was ready to gently correct my mistakes and took time to explain to me how to certain phrases work. This class stretched my vocabulary in a good way.
