抱著試試看的念頭選擇了James的試聽課，James立刻回復了我，詢問學習的狀況，學習的目標，讓我感受到他的真誠。 試聽課中，James準備了三種程度的閱讀材料，當發現材料太簡單，馬上換了難度更高一點的閱讀材料。 在試聽的眾多老師中，這是準備最充分的老師。 結合小朋友的年齡，James制定了專屬小朋友的課程，以國家地理教材為主，搭配自製教材。 將虛構類課程和非虛構類課程相結合。 國家地理包羅萬象，James結合自己的遊歷經歷，給小朋友講述了風土人情，氣候變化，學習英語的同時增長了知識。 在虛構類課程中，James以小朋友為主角，講述故事。 小朋友太興奮了，彷彿自己成為了書的主角，參與度拉滿，每天都在期待James的課程。特別突出的一點是，James發現了小朋友閱讀時速度太快，沒有停頓的問題，專門糾正，也發現了小朋友語法方面的不足，專門講解了一些初級語法，並在課堂中改正孩子的語法錯誤。 James的上課氣氛輕鬆愉快，教學熱忱，適合各程度的學習者，在開心快樂中學到知識。
