🎹 Course Description
This piano course is designed especially for students who
🌱 feel resistant to practicing,
🌱 easily lose motivation, or
🌱 feel stuck despite putting in effort.
I believe that a lack of interest in practice is rarely due to laziness, but more often the result of not being guided in a way that truly fits the student.
In each lesson, I take time to understand the student’s learning style, personality, and goals. Lessons and practice strategies are adjusted accordingly, so that practicing no longer feels like repetitive pressure, but instead becomes a process of building confidence, musical understanding, and a sense of achievement 🎶
With clear, step-by-step guidance, even students who once disliked practicing can gradually find their own rhythm and begin to approach the piano with greater willingness and curiosity.
⸻
✨ Course Features
🎵 Patient, supportive guidance — no blame, no comparison
I help students identify the real reasons behind their difficulties, rather than simply asking them to “practice more.” Learning happens best when students feel understood and supported.
🎵 Clear and practical practice methods
Many students dislike practicing because they don’t know how to practice effectively. I break down practice techniques so each session has a clear purpose and focus.
🎵 Tailored for students who struggle with motivation
Practice routines, pacing, and short-term goals are carefully adjusted so students can experience progress within achievable steps, instead of being overwhelmed by frustration.
🎵 Developing musical understanding, not just finger memory
Students are guided to listen, understand phrasing and harmony, and connect with the music. When music becomes meaningful, practice happens more naturally.
🎵 Building long-term learning motivation
The course helps students move from “being told to practice” ➡️ “understanding why they practice,” allowing music to become a lasting and supportive part of life.
👩🏫 Teacher Introduction
I am a piano teacher and also a double bass performer.
Alongside my teaching career, I have been actively involved in performances and musical collaborations in various settings.
Over the years, I have worked and collaborated in Taiwan, the United States, Switzerland, China, and Vietnam, engaging with students and musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds and age groups. These experiences have helped me understand that every learner approaches music with different motivations, expectations, and learning rhythms.
To me, teaching is not only about developing technique, but also about guiding students to find a learning approach that truly suits them, allowing a genuine and lasting connection with music to grow.
