My name is Steff and i am a professional teacher (master in education/TESOL Certificate) with over 18 years of experience in teaching German as a second language. For many years I was working as a senior projectmanager in a marketing agency in Germany. Hence my ability to teach Business German as well. TRAIL LESSON In these 25 minutes i will evaluate your current level and your goals with learning the language. I will also find out what kind of exercises and assignments you prefer to learn the language. GENERAL GERMAN LESSON (A1 – C2) Reading / Pronunciation / Grammar / Listening / Speaking After this course you will be able to speak German more fluently. Furthermore you will learn, how to easily structure sentences and how to use the German grammar correctly. ✔ for students of all levels ✔ tailormade lessons for your specific needs ✔ grammar problems will be illustrated via Google docs ✔ you can choose the topics of the texts if you like ✔ Ideally you book a trail lesson before, so we can make a plan for you CONVERSATIONAL GERMAN (A2 – C2) Exercises to improve free speech During this lesson we will have a conversation about any topic you want. We can use newpaper articles, blogs, movies, books etc. – that´s completely up to you. I can also just ask you questions to make sure that you are talking as much as possible. During our conversation i will correct your grammar and pronunciation mistakes, give you some tips about German phrases to help you improve your communication skills. Before we start with the lessons, i will evaluate your current level and your goals with learning the language. I will also find out what kind of exercises and assignments you prefer, as i am well aware, that every student needs a different approach. All my lessons are student-focused which means i make sure, that you get the material and assignments you need to improve your skills and reach your goals. I understand the process of language acquisition and also the psychology of learning languages. With this knowledge, I developed efficient teaching/learning strategies to make you learn German quickly, without pressure and frustration while having fun. My main focus is getting you to speak German as much as possible during our lessons. We surely also have to do some grammar from time to time. Ideally you will do most of the grammar assignments as a homework – if you are fine with that :o) I am a very patient teacher with a good sense of humor who is convinced, that it´s a lot easier to study while having a good time. During many years of teaching German as a second language i gathered a big pool of different teaching materials and i will find the right stuff to get you on track in a fun and easy way :o)
