I hold a Master's Degree in Education and I'm a Cambridge CELTA certified English teacher with experience in the classroom. I studied Translation and Interpretation (English and Arabic) at university and I have been teaching languages ever since (English, Spanish and Catalan). In my lessons, learners have the opportunity to do personalised, diverse, interactive and engaging activities that help them learn or improve the language. My priority is that students have a good time while learning because I think that motivation is the key to learning. That's why I always try to present language in an attractive way. My lessons are totally student-centred and mainly focused on speaking. I help students develop skills that will allow them to communicate clearly and accurately. Having said that, the lessons are always adapted to the learner's needs and interests. As a teacher, I always make an effort to build a nice atmosphere in class so that students feel comfortable, confident and safe enough to learn. Learners are encouraged to participate and to not be afraid of making mistakes. As a non-native speaker of English, I can help you a lot during your learning experience because I can easily identify the problems that you might have. I can really understand some of the difficulties you might be facing and I can provide you with useful strategies to deal with them.
