I began participating in music festivals and competitions early on, earning many awards that shaped my musical journey. In 2008, I started studying piano performance at Michigan State University, where I actively engaged in recitals, group classes, and masterclasses, gaining praise from renowned musicians. 💡After graduation, I pursued a master’s degree at Arizona State University and attended the Piano Summer at New Paltz, where I interacted with world-class pianists. This experience was profoundly impactful. During my Doctorate in Music Performance at the University of North Texas, I took part in significant competitions and festivals, including the Texas Young Artist Music Competition and a festival in Vicenza, Italy, which advanced my performance skills. 💖 I am also passionate about teaching. Since my time at Michigan State, I have taught piano at community schools and privately. I minored in piano pedagogy during my doctorate and taught at Edelweiss School of Music and Prime Music Institute. After returning to Taiwan, I taught Western music history at Eternal Life Christian College and piano at Juilliard School of Music (Zhubei branch), and at the American School in Hsinchu, where I taught various music courses and led students to numerous awards.
