For younger children, I require them to read a paper copy of the book, in order to protect their eyes and reduce screen time. Reading stories together makes learning English easy and fun. This method is much more effective than using flashcards and doing grammar exercises in isolation. As a professionally trained actor, it is important for your child to hear how I read the narrator's voice, so they can train their ears to hear the correct rhythms and intonations of the English language spoken properly. While reading the story together, your child will have many opportunities to read both the narrator's text and the character lines with me. As your child is reading, I am able to gently guide and correct their pronunciation and intonation to sound more like a fluent native English speaker. I always read in an imaginative and expressive way that immerses your child in the world of the story and makes the characters come to life.
