【Course Highlights 🌳】
🌱 Identifying Where You’re Really Stuck
For many students, the problem isn’t that they “can’t do the math”—it’s that they’ve misunderstood the concepts from the very beginning.
Through interactive guidance and step-by-step questioning, I’ll work with students to break down their thought processes, pinpoint where they’re truly stuck, and rebuild their understanding.
🌱 Understanding Abstract Concepts Through Visuals and Real-Life Examples
Math shouldn’t be just about formulas and memorization.
I use diagrams, stories, and real-life scenarios—even incorporating students’ interests—to illustrate concepts, making abstract ideas concrete and vivid, and easier to truly understand and remember.
🌱 Developing Independent Problem-Solving Skills
Rather than simply providing answers, I prioritize the student’s thought process.
Through guided instruction, I help students learn to analyze problems, organize information, and build logical reasoning, gradually developing the ability to solve problems independently rather than relying on hints.
🌱 Building Confidence and a Sense of Achievement
Many students fear math because they’ve consistently “gotten it wrong” in the past, not because they don’t understand it.
As their conceptual understanding gradually takes shape, students often begin to realize:
“I actually do understand this; I just didn’t get it before.”
This gradually builds their confidence, and they may even begin to enjoy the process of solving problems.
🌱 Customized Materials and Post-Class Review
Every student’s learning situation is different, so lessons are tailored with teacher-created materials and customized content.
Weekly class notes are provided after each session to help students quickly review and bridge the gap before the next class.
As a general rule, homework is not assigned; instead, we encourage students to connect math to real-life situations—such as discounts, ratios, and rates—so they can truly understand that “math is a tool for understanding the world.”
🌱 A Friendly Reminder
Learning math and building a solid conceptual foundation usually requires an adjustment period; it’s perfectly normal to find it a bit challenging at first.
As long as you build your understanding step by step, things will become clearer as you progress, and you may even begin to enjoy solving problems—just like gradually clearing levels in a game.
