Why am I a teacher?
I graduated school in June 2017 with English B2 level and French A2 level. After that I lived in the US (East Coast) for more than I year as a live-in nanny and really improved my English to nearly a native proficiency. Coming back to my home country I realized, I enjoy speaking English and want to give people an opportunity to improve their skills in this global language, in order to communicate on a greater level.
So, I moved to Buenos Aires in Feb 2019 and got TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) certified to locally work as an English Teacher.
Why am I worth the money?
If I'd had to describe myself, I'd say I'm patient, kind, outgoing, and engaging at all times. I have a very positive personality and people like me for laughing so much and being very expressive.
These are all important qualities to have as a teacher, I believe.
In my opinion, language learning is supposed to be fun and therefore I like to incorporate a lot of different methods and teaching styles into the lesson to keep it interesting for my student.
Another really important part of effective teaching is to cater the content to the student's needs and I will absolutely make sure, that that's always the case.
What can you expect from my lessons?
I like to keep my classes very conversational but can also focus on grammar, writing, reading or other topics, as wished.
I simply want to embrace my students' strengths and work on their weaknesses - whatever that requires.
I believe that very student has what it takes to reach their individual goal in language learning. I've seen it for myself and can't wait to be the helping hand for my students to discover it for themselves.
On that mark, I hope to see you on the other side of the cam really soon! Have a good one, folks!
