During that time, I've taught more than 15,000 lessons. I've taught over 5,000 large class lessons to young learners and over 10,000 small group or man-to-man lessons to adult learners. I believe almost anyone can learn a foreign language. I'd love to help you achieve your goal. My lessons focus on fundamental grammar and fluency. I also provide homework for self-study. I promise to do my best to identify where you are proficient and where you are weak in order to efficiently spend our class time working on areas that you lack fluency or accuracy. My first goal is to help you improve your English, but my secondary aim is to have fun doing it. Lessons are as positive and open as you're willing to make them. When taking my lessons, please let me know if you would like to study by yourself. I can provide several hours of self-study material between lessons through BBC English, English Grammar in Use, and supplementary study applications. Our lessons will give you an opportunity to use what you study by yourself in conversation. [50-minute IELTS] In lessons, we focus on the speaking sections, writing sections, or specific accuracy problems. Homework is a workbook (2 hours), writing (1 hour), and a reading module (1-2 hours). [50-minute pronunciation lessons] Pronunciation lessons using the textbook Mastering the American Accent. Depending on the student, this course requires 8 to 16 hours of instruction. Homework is provided in the form of listen-and-repeat recordings, shadowing, and prepared readings. [50-minute ESL lessons] Appropriate for any level of student. Weekly lessons with an optional 0-5 hours of homework. In class, we focus on speaking fluency. Homework is based on student needs, but is a combination of BBC English modules, the English Grammar in Use textbook, TED listening/writing responses, and English apps. When taking my lessons, please let me know if you would like to study by yourself. I can provide several hours of self-study material between lessons through BBC English, English Grammar in Use, and supplementary study applications. Our lessons will give you an opportunity to use what you study by yourself in conversation. Lessons cannot be canceled within 24 hours of start time. Lessons can be started up to ten minutes late with prior notice. For example, a 14:00-15:00 timeslot can be done from 14:10-15:00 instead of 14:00-14:50.
