Worth the Struggle

I started learning Korean because I was tired of reading subtitles. I know not the best reason but there it is. The more I delve into the Korean language the more I love it. It is an amazing language.
The picture of my teacher’s review is something that is incredibly inspiring to me. I am neurodivergent. I have ADHD and struggle to learn in a formal setting. But I have found an ally in learning with Handa. She helps to motivate me and stays patient; she does not belittle or make me struggle. She will go over and over the information until I am able to grasp it and understand it fully. I am so thankful to have found a teacher like her.
I am now understanding bits and pieces of what I hear on Kdrama's and in music. I can read and comprehend what I am reading and if I don't I know I will. I am so in love with the language that I am determined to learn how to speak Korean as fluently as possible. I look forward to the day that I can hold a full conversation in Korean.
