Just had an introduction class with Lily. We had a conversation so she could assess my level, and then she gave an outline of what she thinks will be the best approach for me. She also showed me the kind of materials we'll be using. She was encouraging and helped me to understand the difference between southern and northern accents (this is a focus for me). I'll be signing up for more classes!

Taylor was able to help me further develop my conversational Vietnamese through casual talk as well as reading passages. From getting to know me, she made a useful Powerpoint with pointers and topics for me to talk with my grandparents. I am at an intermediate level, and she was able to improve my vocabulary for everyday use with my grandparents. Taylor plans her lessons out thoroughly and explains new words and phrases in detail. It was a pleasure having Taylor as my teacher. I definitely recommend you taking lessons with her. You'll improve in no time!

Ms Tam is a very friendly and patient tutor to the beginner, especially you need a clear explanation in English, and she do speak in Korean and Chinese as well. having fun in the class, thank you 👍

She has good English. Fun and very enthusiastic about teaching. Went over basic pronunciation of alphabet and tones. Gave tips with the mouth and graphs to help pronounce properly. Also has nice simple and fun graphics to help learn some basic pronouns. Seems fun and practical to learn with, as she caters to student how they want to learn.

Lilly was great, speaks fluent English. Can answer any question I have. Also enthusiastic and fun lessons. Like the focus on food in the beginning :) Also like that she catered the lesson to my needs and added material as necessary (like extra sentences that fit situation).

Ms. Shinegi is a devoted teacher. I cannot remember Vietnamese words and pronounciation soon, but she has prerseveranc to teach me. I learned many words at latest lesson. For exmample, the differences between ngoài and ngoại.

I had my first lesson with Hoàng Anh. The lesson goal for me was to practice my Vietnamese and put what I have learned into practice. Hoàng Anh was really supportive and customized the lesson to match my level and need. looking forward to next lesson. Highly recommended

Things became a bit more challenging for me. Lots of VN phonics were easily mixed up with English phonics while Lily fixed them during the class. I like the interaction in the class.

During class, we have lots of chances to talk in Vietnamese. Ruby is good at Chinese as well, so it's easy to communicate if there is any misunderstanding. I learned a lot from Ruby's classes and I always look forward to having her classes.

The class is very easy to understand, Emily really makes it easy for beginner like me to ease into learning Vietnamese. And each lesson is not too difficult that it becomes discouraging. Her schedule can also be flexible if the time slots doesn't suit you. Overall very good experience so far!

Teacher Chiem has taught me some greetings in Vietnamese, it's similar to Korean in the way how they call different people by their age and status in the society. Interesting lesson!

Another good lesson from Teacher Chiem. Being of Vietnamese heritage myself I wanted to improve my Vietnamese by focusing on pronunciation. Chiem has an excellent ear and can easily and quickly identify with accuracy where you are going wrong and give useful feedback supported by examples, visuals and demonstrations. I am finding this very useful and can notice my pronunciation improving with each lesson.
