I love my weekly sessions with Vista. She brings joy and ease into our sessions along with the material. She co-creates a space with you to get the most out of your sessions: relevant material, meet you at your level, and mixes up theoretical with practical exercises. Her grammatical knowledge of the English language is very helpful as many of the translations are not direct. She helps you understand the cultural way of using Bahasa Indonesia, not just teaching you words. I could not say anything in Bahasa Indonesia a few months ago, and now I can speak simple sentences. It’s the highlight of my week, I learn so much. I can't recommend her enough!

Henry is very friendly and also able to give good advice on how to proceed with my language learning journey with Indonesian. He is also quick to correct my mistake as well as good in communicating what he means. Definitely a great teacher for beginners and also intermediate learners.

I have been learning Buginese with Hendri for ten months. Buginese is the fifth-largest regional language in Indonesia, spoken by the Bugis people in South Sulawesi. The structure and pronunciation of Buginese differ from Standard Indonesian and the other common Indonesian languages such as Javanese, which makes the language very interesting to learn. This was my 18th lesson with Hendri. I asked Hendri to describe pairs of pictures in Buginese, including raw mango/, ripen mango, cracked/uncracked eggs etc. Hendri was patient enough. He explained new words and expressions to me well and repeated the sentences for me in clear pronunciation. I look forward to improving further in Buginese and visiting South Sulawesi very soon!

Ninuk is a fabulous teacher, been many years since I used my Indonesian language skill. She is helping me so much to remember what I knew. Class is so great because it just flows and by the end of it you have learnt all these new words which just click! Thanks so much nunik

Excellent first class with Kurnia. I am very excited to continue my language studies with her. She let me speak to my maximum level then gave me enough help to get my meaning across, documenting the words I struggled with. Class didn't feel like work, but instead was quite fun.

I have enjoyed all my lessons (10+) with Cynthia so far! She is very patient (my bad for not memorising all the words she has taught me) when I don't understand things, and is always very cheerful and passionate when teaching. Would recommend her as a teacher for anyone! :)

He always teaches me so kindly from basic. At latest lesson, I learned what to do or what not to do in Indonesia on the points of cultural background. I think to know culture is important elements to learn language.

He talked about the alphabet and the R sound. It reminds me of Spanish and Arabic. He contacted me before the class. Very professional. It was for my son he enjoyed it.

Astrid took me step by step along the way from an absolute beginner. You can definitely use the words learned from her classes in daily conversations. Although I love her teaching style, unfortunately I had to stop taking classes due to the significant drop in her attendance rate. Klara can speak Chinese as a native. she does study plan to her students according to their actual needs. She is patient and well organized teacher. Strongly recommend for beginners.

Risma did prepare a ppt for our trial lesson and it helped a lot as I have no experience in learning Indonesian. Also, Risma can explain the Indonesian language system in English very well and she did has her own study plan for her students. I would recommend Risma to the English speakers who are interested in learning Indonesian.

My first session - Meidiana was easy to talk to, and gave me some lessons to study before our next session. Connection was good, I could hear Meidiana well 90% of the time. .
