* Homework may include fun ways to practice using English. For example, Internet scavenger hunts, writing letters to CEOs, politicians, or other influential people.
* Intermediate through advanced student lessons may occasionally consist of my 'loved by all high school students' way of learning English from American commenters commenting on news articles-something I call Raw English.
-About Me
I'm a guy named James and am from Los Angeles, California in the United States of America. I currently live in Kunming, also known as the 'Spring City' which is located in China's Yunnan Province. I have a beautiful Chinese wife and a tremendous, handsome three year old son. I consider myself fortunate because I get to do what I love-teaching English and designing websites. When I am not working, I like to go to the park or the mountains to experience nature and play with my boy. I also enjoy making new friends and hope that you will be my next friend.
As an English teacher, I believe that English is not a subject that can be studied, but is rather a language intended to be used.
