Winners train, losers complain. I can 'win' if I want to!~~

『Yes, that's true. Those who train are the ones who successfully overcome challenges when it comes to reaching their aspiration.』

I'm Beverly, and my primary English need is to pass the admission interview at a research institute in Boston, but I haven't been able to enhance my English since primary and middle school, which made me go blank or think a couple of seconds before I say a word and that frustrated me. You see, Asian schools are "exam-oriented", the lesson plans are designed so that students can pass exams that are short-term. As a result, my English knowledge became stuck and mechanical to the point that I no longer feel excited in using the language. But then one day in one of our school club huddles, I saw a slogan "Winners train, losers complain." That suddenly ignited a spark within me. I won't win if I always complain in myself. But I need a solid English course to jump-start my training. 怎麼辦?

So then the eclipse aligned and I found Amazing Talker and as soon as I was browsing through the teachers, I found a teacher Jem🎖掌握英語感思考力🎖熟悉搭配單字,自在立即反應!This is exactly what I need! So the trial class went by and I noticed that he uses a non-conventional way of reasoning to the student. He lets the student say what the problem is. He recorded one of my responses in describing a photo and let me listen carefully to what I sounded like. Then he asked me, "Do you drive?" I said, "Yes I do." He was like "What happens when you step on the brakes suddenly and recklessly? Drive and brake, drive and brake... It will be a big discomfort for all inside, and it damages the car. Your response sounds like that. It was laggy, had a lot of paused in-between words, reflecting lack of confidence and verbal skills. You need to be spontaneous, you need to be persuasive." I was like "Whoah I have never heard of that kind of a feedback, it hit the bull's eye. This is a "mirror" training, making me see what I dont usually see." He said, "We don't just think, hear and speak the language Beverly. We need to feel it. That's called sense of language 語感." From then on, I was dying to learn from this teacher. 😅

He recommended a three-month course. I really thank Jem for assessing my level and how many classes I need to study for my goals during the curriculum. I have made significant progress since then. Teacher Jem helped me verbalize my thoughts in a structured manner and suggested how to revise it impromptu by paraphrasing, which was really beneficial! He also developed my interview skills, questions that may be asked, etc., and constantly helped me boost my confidence! Teacher Jem is really as approachable as friends. Although I was afraid that I could not speak well, it would be embarrassing, but later I became less and less conscious of this feeling, so I often talked with Teacher Jem about many different topics, which enhanced my sense of language because I was finally exposed enough to English. Finally, I think language is alive, learning English by the process of non-conventional means is the most productive and effective way for me! I am very grateful that I have met such a good teacher, and I am very grateful that this platform has made my English training easier and more convenient!

Now I am so glad to announce that I was successfully admitted to the research institute and am currently pursuing my career with such great satisfaction. Indeed, winners train, losers complain. I can 'win' if I want to! And I did! Thank you thank you Jem for everything!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
